Radiogaga

Thom & friends like to take their time on they breaks, but they seem to be back in full force debuting a slew of new tunes during a recent tour, a solo record from Thom in July and a new Radiohead album on the horizon. The new material is as close to a return to Bends-era guitar rock as we're gonna get, similar to Hail to the Thief but really taking it all the way back this time. It doesn't sound like a regression so much as The Beatles going "back to basics" on the white album, and there's plenty reason to believe after listening to these versions that the band's next collection has the potential to be something special (yet again).

Bodysnatchers
This song is the bees knees. I posted the acoustic version with Thom and Johnny because you can really hear the vocals and the dueling guitars, plus the sound quality is pretty decent. One of the highlights.

Bangers n Mash
Radiohead covers U2 making an iPod commercial! Rock music.

15 Step
A hypnotic dark spiritual in an odd time signature. Sounds better after a few listens and will be a good one after a bit of studio magic is applied.

House of Cards
This is apprently an older tune. Keeping things simple here, it's classy, wistful British balladry that drifts along rather nice.

Arpeggi
Escalating guitars and wailing vocals shifting through peaks and valleys. It's inspired guitar music and another highlight of the new material so far.
