The Sylvers - Only One Can Win
Playlist is up, nothing but straight 60's and 70's soul music. Love Marlena Shaw's take on California Soul, there's some Capsoul and Big Mack label tracks in there plus hidden gems from Sly, Stevie, Parliament and Ms. Peebles. A little something for everyone. Unless you hate soul music. Then there actually is nothing there for you.
Will probably keep this one up into August to keep things simple during the move to Brooklyn. Enjoy one more track from The Sylvers, the shifting midtempo groove of Only One Can Win from their debut record. Donuts anyone?
