Bonobo - The Fever
Bonobo - Days to Come featuring Bajka
The limey from Brighton known as Bonobo (Simon Green) makes that shimmering stuttering laid back downtempo like few others can. He has a brilliant new album out on Ninja Tune entitled Days To Come that's both confident and creative and it deserves attention from fans of the genre. There's a good deal of vocals throughout the set, a first for Simon and a most welcome departure.
Check out the shifting and hypnotic track The Fever - warm retro keys and middle eastern flavor make it one of the album's highlights. Also available is the title track which features the sultry stylings of lovely Bajka. It's appropriate music for walking around in tonight's windstorm.
