Marvin Gaye - All The Way 'Round
68 years and 1 day ago in Washington D.C., Marvin Pentz Gay Jr. was born. 23 years and 2 days ago, Marvin was shot in the chest twice by his father and died shortly after. I wrote this a while back so I won't type up another long entry on the man's life and music, but the guy was a troubled genius and his passing remains one of the great tragedies in popular music history. Now's as good a time as any for some more attention to be paid.
