Hot Chip - Boy From School
Hot Chip - Over And Over
Hot Chip - The Warning
Hot Chip is from England, electropop is for the kids. Like New Order back in the day or Postal Service a few years ago, they make glitchy blips and catchy hooks with lush harmonies and a touch of soul. Check out the lovely clavfunk opus Boy From School, the messy dancefloor crunch of Over And Over and the addictive title track that lies somewhere between Beta Band and Thom Yorke's solo record. All three are from The Warning released earlier this year, by all accounts their best record yet. Worth looking into if you enjoy that late night electronic stuff.
